    Business Development Manager

    BettingJobs is currently working with an innovative and fast-growing iGaming company who are seeking a Business Development Manager to join their dynamic team in Malta. The role of the Business Development Manager will be to identify new business initiatives and develop a commercial strategy for the company.

    This ideal candidate would have a strong network in online casino and proven experience in developing and closing business development opportunities.

    Responsibilities: 

    • Identify, propose, analyse, lead and assess new business initiatives both financially and commercially and then make recommendations
    • Build, maintain and develop a core network of contacts, including C-level relationships to enable access to commercially or strategically viable opportunities for the company
    • Assist with building departmental infrastructure and best practices for the team
    • Help define and implement the department strategy including communication, prioritisation, vision, values, goals and culture
    • Attend industry trade shows, conferences and similar events to develop leads and relationships

    Requirements:

    • Excellent relationship building, networking skills and ability to self-generate new business opportunities
    • Excellent and professional oral, written and presentation skills, including the ability to connect and engage with and influence a wide range of people
    • Collaborative and inclusive approach; ability to work well with all Business Units
    • Highly self-motivated, able to work autonomously and in high pressure environments
    • Strong, demonstrated qualitative and quantitative analysis skills
    • Wiling to undertake extensive global travel
    • Strong negotiation and influencing skills
    • Ideally degree educated
    • 3 – 5 years’ business development or financial experience or similar
    • A proven track record developing and closing opportunities
    • Exemplary project management skills
