BettingJobs.com are currently seeking a Basketball Trader for an established sportsbook based in Malta.

Focused primarily on the NBA, the successful candidate will also support trading activity across other US sports, predominantly American Football and Baseball. This role would be well-suited to an experienced sports trader with a passion for basketball and strong knowledge of the sport.

Responsibilities:

• Adjust odds across all Basketball events and other assigned sports, ensuring market suspensions and downtime are minimised.
• Monitor and analyse betting and customer activity to quickly identify discrepancies and take appropriate action.
• Enter results and verify feed accuracy, including adding and checking events, event titles, and notes.
• Track incoming bets and use them to make accurate, real-time trading decisions.
• Apply profiling techniques to support trading accuracy.
• Work collaboratively within the US Sports team and the wider trading group to deliver the best outcomes for the business and its customers.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a sports trading environment.
• Excellent knowledge of Basketball, with specialism in the NBA strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of major US sports (American Football, Baseball, etc.).
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail with an analytical mindset.
• Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings, weekends, and non-standard shifts.
• Professional, responsible, and respectful in all interactions.
