Jennifer and I are very much looking forward to returning to São Paulo for SiGMA Americas 2024. With a plethora of networking opportunities, SiGMA Americas is one of the largest events on the LATAM conference calendar. The three-day event attracts more than 10,000 attendees and over 200 speakers.
We share details about our upcoming trip to Brazil and the highly anticipated conference in today’s blog.
The Brazilian and other LATAM markets have been through their fair share of peaks and troughs over the last few years. Since I first attended SiGMA Americas in 2022, there has been a build-up of excitement and anticipation surrounding the regulation of the Brazilian iGaming market. While this has involved many discussions, there is plenty of work left to finalise the details! This however does not stop operators and other businesses from preparing for the upcoming regulations to be put into place. This preparation includes building out local teams ahead of market entry, which is where we can help. We have a great network of professionals in the Brazilian gaming space who are ready to contribute their skills and knowledge to businesses looking to expand into Brazil. I hope to expand my network by meeting with more candidates and potential clients at the 2024 show, and to assist where I can.
In planning for the event, I spoke with Jennifer, who shares her insight below into the show and what we have learned over the past three years we have been attending SiGMA Americas:
“I am very much looking forward to returning to sunny São Paulo next month, for SiGMA Americas – this will be my third year in attendance, having watched not only the conference grow but the gaming industry in Brazil / LATAM grow during this time. With no shortage of interest from clients in the Brazilian market we continue to work with operators and suppliers operating locally on expanding and / or creating teams. There are still vast amounts of opportunity, and a large amount still to be learned and connections to be made. I am keen to see what new connections this year brings and witness again first-hand the evolution of iGaming in the region.” – Jennifer Innes, CEO
