BettingJobs is working with a well-established iGaming operator seeking to expand their team with the addition of an experienced iGaming Compliance Mentor to guide, train, and support their compliance team and wider business units in achieving and maintaining regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of global iGaming regulations, licensing frameworks, and responsible gaming standards, and will be capable of transferring that expertise through mentoring, practical training, and policy oversight.

This role is ideal for a compliance professional who has held senior regulatory, AML, or responsible gaming positions and is looking to provide strategic mentorship on a contractual basis. This is a remote based role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mentor and support senior compliance staff and operational teams in understanding and applying iGaming regulations and licensing obligations.
• Conduct compliance gap analyses and recommend corrective actions.
• Review, develop, and enhance internal compliance policies, procedures, and monitoring frameworks.
• Provide expert advice on regulatory developments, risk mitigation, and best practices in key markets.
• Assist in preparing documentation for licensing, audits, and regulatory submissions.
• Deliver compliance workshops and training sessions (e.g., AML, KYC, Safer Gambling, Data Protection).
• Support leadership in embedding a culture of compliance across the organization.
• Stay current with industry trends, new legislation, and enforcement actions affecting iGaming operations.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in senior iGaming compliance, risk, or regulatory affairs.
• Strong understanding of compliance; AML/CFT, KYC, GDPR, and Responsible Gambling frameworks.
• Proven experience mentoring or training compliance professionals.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and deliver high-quality guidance on a consultancy basis.
• Ability to take a hands on approach to consulting and gap analysis.
