BettingJobs are currently seeking a Deputy Director of Risk Management for an established supplier to the iGaming industry. This role will be based at their offices in Yerevan.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and enhance a comprehensive risk management framework tailored to iGaming risks (financial, operational, compliance, security, player behaviour).
• Ensure compliance with local/international regulations, licensing conditions, AML directives, and responsible gambling standards.
• Oversee fraud prevention systems targeting bonus abuse, multi-accounting, chargebacks, and collusion.
• Assess and mitigate operational and cybersecurity risks in online platforms (e.g., data breaches, DDoS attacks).
• Develop player risk profiling strategies to detect unusual betting or problem gambling behaviours.
• Conduct risk assessments, internal audits, and investigations of suspicious activities.
• Collaborate across departments to align risk strategies with business goals.
• Lead and mentor the risk management team, promoting risk awareness and performance.
• Report risks, mitigation actions, and forecasts to leadership and stakeholders.
• Monitor emerging iGaming risks and trends; develop proactive risk strategies.
• Optimize and implement risk management tools and data-driven systems.

Requirements:

• Proven expertise in risk management, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
• Skilled in risk software, data analysis, and financial/operational risk evaluation.
• Crisis management and business continuity planning experience.
• Fluency in Armenian and English (Russian a plus); strong communication skills.
• Master’s degree in a relevant field; risk-related certifications (CRM, FRM, CISA, PMP) are a plus.
• 8+ years in risk management (3+ in senior or iGaming roles).
• Strong analytical, leadership, and decision-making capabilities.
• Strategic thinker with attention to detail and adaptability.
