BettingJobs are working with an up-and-coming B2C and B2B company who are developing their own sportsbook platform. They are looking for a Frontend Developer to be based in Malta working remotely from the country.

The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in web development, a passion for creating engaging user interfaces, and a keen eye for design. They will work closely with designers and back-end developers to create seamless, responsive, and visually appealing web applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop new user-facing features with a focus on responsive and interactive web experiences.
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Collaborate with other team members (designers, back-end developers) to deliver cohesive products.
• Maintain and improve the website and web applications.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest web development trends, technologies, and best practices.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Strong experience with front-end frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Knowledge of CSS pre-processors (Sass, LESS).
• Experience with responsive and mobile-first design.
• Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues.
• Familiarity with build tools like Webpack, Gulp, or Grunt.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Nice to have:

• Experience with TypeScript.
• Familiarity with UI/UX design tools (Figma, Adobe XD).
• Knowledge of server-side rendering (SSR) or static site generation.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha).
