BettingJobs are working with a new start up business launching a lottery and betting product in the Nigerian market. They are based out of Osun State and searching for a General Manager with extensive digital and retail lottery & betting experience to join their team. Responsibilities:

• Execute the market entry strategy for Nigeria.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow market share.
• Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform strategic decisions.
• Ensure full compliance with Nigerian laws and regulations governing online betting.
• Maintain relationships with regulatory authorities and manage the licensing process.
• Develop and implement effective marketing teams to handle campaigns to attract and retain customers.
• Establish partnerships with local influencers, media, and sports organizations.
• Monitor and optimize customer acquisition costs (CAC) and lifetime value (LTV).
• Oversee daily operations, including customer service, payment processing, and technical support.
• Recruit, train, and manage a local team to support business operations.
• Set performance targets and ensure the team meets business objectives.
• Manage the P&L for Nigeria, ensuring profitability and cost control.
• Prepare and present regular financial and operational reports to the executive team.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a senior management role, ideally within the betting/gaming industry.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in the betting/gaming industry
• Proven track record of successfully managing operations in Nigeria.
• Strong understanding of the Nigerian regulatory environment for online betting.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strategic thinking with the ability to drive growth in a competitive market.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of local languages is an advantage.
