BettingJobs are working with a very successful online casino affiliate business based in the UK. They are looking to add to their technical team with this Senior Full Stack Wordpress Developer to join their team on a remote basis.

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain two large affiliate websites; implement features, optimize performance, and ensure responsiveness.
• Collaborate with the CMO and team to set technical direction and streamline workflows.
• Conduct technical SEO audits; implement strategies like schema markup, mobile-first indexing, and site architecture optimization.
• Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes/plugins in PHP; write clean, scalable code (PHP, JavaScript, TypeScript).
• Enhance site security, performance, and database scalability in high-traffic environments.
• Build dynamic, responsive UIs using JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, and HTML; ensure cross-browser/mobile compatibility.
• Automate repetitive tasks and improve content workflow efficiency.
• Align technical efforts with content and marketing goals; report regularly to CMO.
• Collaborate across teams; foster a high-performance, innovative culture; act as a flexible team player.

Requirements

• Proven technical SEO experience and deep knowledge of search engine algorithms.
• Expert in PHP, JavaScript, TypeScript, and CSS; extensive WordPress experience.
• Skilled in managing and scaling large, high-traffic WordPress sites.
• Proficient in server management (Linux, Apache/Nginx), version control (Git), and RESTful APIs.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills; experience with automation and workflow improvement.
• Familiarity with iGaming or competitive niches; previous affiliate site experience preferred.
• Knowledge of caching, load balancing, Node.js, and modern JS frameworks.
