BettingJobs is working with a market leading B2B SaaS provider who are looking to add a Request for Proposal Excellence Lead to their team. This role would ideally be based in Bucharest.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end Request for Proposal (RfP) process. This role ensures that all RfP activities align with the company’s strategic sales and business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Report to the Head of Sales Excellence and oversee the end-to-end RfP process, ensuring alignment with the company’s sales and business objectives.
- Lead the RfP Excellence function, driving efficient and effective processes for scouting, pre-qualification, and opportunity assignment to sales.
- Manage cross-functional collaboration with sales, marketing, product, and finance teams to ensure timely, competitive proposals.
- Establish and maintain best practices for RfP submissions, including templates, compliance checklists, and submission timelines.
- Analyse past RfPs to identify trends, improve win rates, and provide strategic recommendations for future submissions.
- Assess and qualify RfPs based on strategic fit and resource allocation.
- Assign opportunity owners to specific RfPs (e.g., Sales, Product, Compliance) based on expertise and capacity.
- Optimize RfP processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Provide strategic input on pricing, deal structures, and risk assessment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Project Management, or a related field; certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are a plus.
- 5–8+ years in RfP management, proposal writing, or a similar role in iGaming or B2B environments.
- Familiarity with industry dynamics, client requirements, and regulatory environments relevant to iGaming.
- Deep understanding of RfP processes, including compliance, proposal writing, and competitive positioning.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage complex, multi-stakeholder RfPs.
- Expertise in ensuring compliance with RfP requirements and delivering high-quality submissions.
- Strong ability to coordinate across departments and align stakeholders for successful RfP responses.
- Proven ability to lead a team or coordinate cross-functional stakeholders for RfP success.
- Proficient in using analytics to evaluate RfP trends and improve win rates
