What’s the position?
Our Director of Customer Due Diligence will report to the SVP of Operations and will build and manage a team responsible for all aspects of sportsbook and casino anti-money laundering, enhanced customer profiling and due diligence.

This will include:

partnering with compliance and legal teams to implement robust risk based due diligence, responsible gambling and affordability policy
defining operational process, customer touchpoint and engagement policy, quality control and quality assurance frameworks
collaborating with product teams and third party providers to design and optimize alerts to increase detection of suspicious transactions/behaviour, improve monitoring, design analytical methodologies and implement required screening.
needing to maintain knowledge of regulatory changes and emerging risks and trends to pivot rapidly
You will instil a culture of continuous development via your management team to understand, embrace and adhere to our brand strategy and culture.


What are we looking for?

The ideal candidate will:

have extensive management experience in the Due Diligence and AML function of a sportsbook or casino business
be focused on the optimization of process through technology and automation
have experience of building departments from the ground up and implementing robust due diligence procedures and processes, including provision of training to the business
have knowledge of AML law and gambling regulations with the ability to apply this knowledge in assessing activity, experience of undertaking or supporting risk assessments, driving change based on the same and dealing with external agencies
have excellent communication skills both written and verbal, strong performance management skills and a keen attention to detail
