One of our clients, a large and successful Sports Betting company is looking for a Junior Project Manager to support the current Project Manager.

Junior Project Manager – New Markets: About the Role

Working as part of the Business Development team this role will be pivotal in the roll-out of the WynnBET apps/website in new States across the US. The successful candidate will be involved in various areas of the project working with both the internal development and QA teams, as well as handling relationships with partners such as platform partners relationship, KYC, payments, geolocation etc and be integral to the smooth roll-out of additional States. This role provides the opportunity to be exposed to many areas and be mentored by a Senior Project Manager, within a company offering career progression.
Whilst based in London this role requires close collaboration between international teams located in Istanbul, New Jersey and Las Vegas.

This will suit a candidate wanting to work in a dynamic, fast paced business willing to be a core interaction in the team and working well under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of the team to ensure effective and efficient implementation of multiple projects across multiple jurisdictions
• Assist and work alongside the project manager
• Assist with all aspects of project management - leading to running your own projects in the future
• Ensure that what is delivered meets or exceeds what is expected – which requires clear communication both written and verbally, to ensure that deliverables are clearly defined and interpreted by all
• Contribute to regular project updates on progress, risks, adjustments etc
• Use company tools to keep track on project status, with visibility to all stakeholders for an instant snapshot at any point
• Communicate with third parties ranging from payment and KYC providers, platform partners, content providers etc
• Manage and own relationships with third party organisations, mainly but not limited to platform and payment providers
• Be a team player within the project team – with both internal and external stakeholders
• Contribute to post-delivery analysis – evaluating successes and challenges to ensure lessons learnt and successes recognised

Qualifications

● 18 months experience within a Project Management role
● Experience with the online gaming sector advantageous, but not essential
● Excellent verbal and written English and communication skills
● Ability to work autonomously and under pressure in a fast and dynamic environment
● Proactive person who displays initiative and can work well cross functionally
● Good understanding of SDLC and Agile framework
● Basic knowledge of JIRA/Confluence
● Basic knowledge of API integrations
● Familiar with project tracking tools such Asana, MS Project, Monday or similar.
