They are now looking for a Head of HR to build and lead their HR department. This is an opportunity to develop the department and its strategies from the basics, and for the right candidate to really take ownership of HR processes and outcomes on an international level.

The role will involve collaborating with numerous offices and departments across different time zones, working to ensure equality for all team members as well as alignment with business objectives and local laws. The Head of HR will ensure the smooth-running of all personnel related matters, and will work closely with senior management to achieve this.

Responsibilities
Oversee the full employee life cycle, playing a key part in the recruitment of new team members and negotiation of employment agreements
Create, maintain and implement the full range of company policies
Ensure effective onboarding processes are in place
Develop the current performance evaluation system
Supervise and support HR personnel
Plan and implement appropriate HR initiatives
Analyse data using HR metrics
Ensure company-wide compliance with internal policies and local laws
Deal with employee grievances and disputes

Required Skills/Experience:
Extensive hands-on experience in senior HR roles
Ample experience recruiting and onboarding new hires
Thorough knowledge of principles and best practices underpinning HR
Excellent judgement and decision-making
Good understanding of labour laws
Strong leadership and organisational skills
Experience managing the full employee life-cycle
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Working fluency in English and Spanish
Studies related to HR or similar

Preferred Skills/Experience:
Experience in senior HR roles in international/software development companies
Specific knowledge of labour laws in Spain/EU and LATAM
Experience with HR Management Systems/Applicant Tracking Systems
Experience in recruitment of IT profiles
Certified level C1 or above in English and/or Spanish
Advanced level of study relating to HR (Masters in Human Resources or similar)
