BettingJobs.com are currently seeking a US Sports Trader for an established yet growing Sportsbook in their Malta office. The US Sports Trader will work across all North American sports with a particular focus on NFL, NBA, MLB and NHL.
In addition to compiling odds for matches a key element on this role will be the creation of innovative player props and specials markets so an in-depth US Sports knowledge is essential.
This position would be well suited to an individual with trading experience and a comprehensive US Sports knowledge looking to move their career forward with an innovative sportsbook.
Responsibilities:
• Compile odds for a wide variety of US Sports markets
• Monitor real- time sports events/ results and perform live trading
• Manage positions and take action to ensure maximum profitability
• Perform customer analysis
• Monitor customers and bet limits
• Create player props and special markets across a range of sports.
Requirements:
• Comprehensive US Sports knowledge, including American Football, Basketball, Baseball and Ice Hockey.
• Previous experience in a Sports Trading role, ideally focussed on US Sports.
• Strong mathematical background
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• A university degree, preferably in an analytical field such as mathematics or statistics
