A major international gaming and betting firm is seeking the hire of an experienced Business Analyst to be based from their growing Malta office.
As a Business Analyst, candidate will be responsible to understand and document the requirements of projects within the company. This includes an understanding of where we are before the project, where we want to be after the project, and the required steps to reach that goal.
Essential Job Functions / Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Understand and document existing internal processes
Communicate with stakeholders to understand their needs.
Document the ‘as is’ and the ‘to be’ state and perform a GAP analysis to break down the project into smaller projects.
Research the impact of a project on other areas of the business.
Explore existing internal solutions to prevent work duplication.
Create requirements catalogues which contain but are not limited to a project description, requirements of the project, as well as documentation of current and future workflow within the project.
Keep stakeholders up to date on the progress of the analysis to make sure recent changes are implemented and communicated.
Discuss and define KPI’s and CSF’s to monitor project progress and success.
Schedule meeting between stakeholders as required.
Communicate with IT in case they need to be involved in the project.
Skills & Qualifications:
Strong written and oral communication skills. Fluency in written and spoken English.
Familiarity with standard Business Analysis tools, including, but not limited to Flowcharts, Process Modelling, GAP and SWOT analysis and requirements catalogues.
Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
Ability to multi-task and manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge & Experience:
1+ years of experience in business analysis or project management.
1+ years of experience in the sports betting domain.
Experience in creating requirements documents and other BA tools.
Programming experience is a big plus (any language).
