The Vacancy:

To lead the User Acquisition (UA) efforts acquiring new FTB’s for the brand in line with agreed business model goals and targets.

Primary Responsibilities:

Identify and secure media opportunities to drive quality FTBs from channels including, but not limited to:

• Paid Social
• Affiliates
• PR
• Influencers
• SEO and organic media
• PPC Google
• Media Networks
• Offline media (inc. TV Radio and print media)

Retention support:

Liaise with and input into the conversion efforts undertaken by the CRM Manager in order to ensure that the Conversion activity has an effective plan to support forthcoming acquisition activity in terms of player targets and metrics.

Customer Acquisition:

• To define the acquisition strategy to meet business model and targets and gain approval from stakeholders on the strategy pre implementation
• To secure media and third-party partnerships to deliver the required goals in terms of quality FTB’s
• To engage local market expertise to provide support as needed for UA efforts
• To ensure that all content and design created is signed off by stakeholders
• To ensure that all content and design meets with all local licensing requirements and regulation and is pre-approved before release by the Compliance team
• To provide visibility daily , weekly, monthly and quarterly to the business on UA metrics and variance to business model and plan and a mitigation activity to counter any negative variance that may occur
• To act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the business on UA in North America
• To develop Jersey as a blueprint for future expansion into other North American licensed states
• To test offers , endorsements and creatives to ensure optimal ROI
• To identify and develop any affinity marketing, endorsement or sponsorship opportunities that will help us meet our business goals profitably and in accordance with the business model
• To ensure that all third-party activity have adequate control mechanisms and an approved sign off process pre-release with all stakeholders and business
• To identify and secure innovative acquisition channels that give us an edge on our competitive set in New Jersey
• To implement and deliver entertainment and value led UA proposition that differentiates the business and creates meaningful revenue and profit
• To collaborate and focus the Product team’s efforts on the elements of social gaming that drive profitable UA volume
• To work closely with BI and data functions to measure the success of actions, make learnings and provide business reporting
• Ensure that all marketing output is compliant to regulations set by the licensed jurisdiction they are marketed in
• To ensure that sensitive data is correctly stored and shared in a manner that doesn’t leave the business vulnerable to loss of valuable data or player details
• Implement cross marketing programs through the team when required to do so by the business
• Establish processes to ensure the quality of our data e.g. that customer data is regularly refreshed and that we execute in a manner that meets the compliance requirement of each jurisdiction we operate in.
• Work closely with the Content creators to produce exciting and engaging content to be engage new users base; i.e. content marketing initiatives
• Work closely with the team to ensure all outputs are on brand, signed off and meet and exceed expectations on quality.
• Provide transparency to all leaders and stakeholders on UA efforts and results.

Position Qualification & Experience Requirements:

• Experience of UA to North American audiences preferably in a sports marketing capacity
• Social Gaming experience in a UA role
• Educated to degree level
• Knowledgeable of a wide range of American interest sports in the context of betting
• Highly demonstrable knowledge of social gaming UA suppliers – especially affiliates, ad networks, media houses, PR, offline media partners and sponsorship opportunities.
• Previous experience of managing conflict and prioritisation within a busy B2C online business


• Excellent presentation skills
• Strong motivational skills
• Experience in working in a matrix organisation and proven to be effective in building relationships internally and externally
• Experience of working for an online gambling/B2C RMG app business/Social gaming product
• Ability to work effectively and speedily with remote teams in different time zones

The successful UA Manager will be:

• Be passionate about North American sports
• Be very conversant with and have experience of UA in North America
• Be product passionate and demonstrate the ability to transfer social UA strategies into our RMG product
• Keen to work closely with Product and BI personnel
• Highly data driven and numerate
• Is a good communicator
• A proactive person who displays initiative and can work well in a team
• Creative with an analytical approach
• Organised in creating/following processes
• Outgoing, positive and forward thinking
• Is happy to work in a fast-paced and pressured environment with demanding targets but keen on maintaining customer-focus
• Will give exemplary attention to detail and have excellent communication skills – including insights for the content writers and designers
• A self-starter who is eager to be a pivotal part in the ambitious growth plans of the business
• Excited to work in a start-up environment and part of a small, but growing, team
• Able to demonstrate interest and experience in North American Sports
