BettingJobs.com is working with a leading Sportsbook who are seeking to hire a Country Manager for Mozambique to drive forward performance within the market.

The Country Manager is responsible for a range of duties from managing general business operations and developing market acquisition strategies to increasing the overall profitability of the company within their region. Having responsibility over the company’s profit and loss within this market the Country Manager role is well suited to an experienced manager. Previous experience in Sports Betting within the online environment is essential.

Responsibilities
• Develop country strategy, positioning and growth
• Owner of GGR/NGR/Deposits/ KPI and Targets
• Responsible for managing all operations within the country
• Build and grow appropriate commercial relationships
• Develop, manage and execute retention strategies based on customer data and behaviour analysis
• Develop and execute a robust strategy tailored to the region that ultimately leads to growth with the operation
• Produce frequent performance reports
• Create and manage targeted campaigns and promotional events designed to increase the volume of end users and their spending
• Own the recruitment process, managing staff and ensuring the appropriate level of training is provided

Requirements
• Minimum of 2 years experience in B2C gaming operations and betting
• Knowledge of the African market
• Entrepreneurial mindset
• Detailed understanding of sports betting, within online operations
• Ideally past experience in launching new products into new markets
• Demonstrated understanding of business operations and proven track record of managing multiple channels
• General management experience and history of leading teams is essential
• Ability to deliver a high standard of customer service
• Analytical and problem-solving personality
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including people management and leadership
• As the role is located in Africa past experience living abroad is desirable
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
