A unique opportunity has arisen for a Finance Analyst to join the our client's Interactive team at the Interactive headquarters in Malta.
The Finance Analyst will be supporting the client's Bet teams and the Finance Manager.
The role reports to the Head of Finance in Malta.
Month End Support for AG and GB
Supporting the AG Finance manager throughout monthly close process, including monthly revenue calculation & postings, generating invoices in line with sometimes complex contractual agreement, posting accounting journals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
Working with AG to calculate casino revenue share and issuing statements to casino operators. Ensuring statements are accurate and reconciled to back office systems.
Assisting the client's Bet UK accounting teams throughout monthly close process, providing supporting information including monthly tracker reports and reconciliations.
Working with Group Finance team and marketing channel leads, to ensure that our accounting is correct and all accruals are supported.
Support AG finance manager on the production of the monthly management accounts.
Other month end duties for AG and GB as required including payroll reconciliations
Support for AG and GB Outside Month End
Expert lead for both AG and GB, on supporting budget holders throughout the PO (P2P) process for budget including where appropriate, GRNI, resolving queries on invoices and payments etc.
Production of various weekly & monthly AG & GB reporting including weekly trading, CPA, Marketing Cost, Revenue Share, Payroll & headcount and KPI’s etc
Regular monthly & quarterly submissions to external stakeholders (MGA & HMRC) for Player liability, Tax report, Betting Duty, Sports Betting etc
Profit & Loss variance analysis including non financial KPI’s and exception reporting
Preparing trackers and reconciliations for Payroll, Revenue Share, Marketing spend, Royalties and other cost items
Work with the Head of Finance to develop reporting for risk and opportunities to ensure that the MD & UK Management Team have insight into the projected results for the year.
Support the Head of Finance to provide ad-hoc reporting, analysis and presentations as required
Skills & Experience
Finalist or newly qualified Financial qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
Strong technical accounting and system skills, with ability to interrogate multiple financial systems.
Ability to build strong relationships with finance & non-finance colleagues at all levels across local and international locations.
Excellent Microsoft Excel skills – quick and efficient at creating reports and manipulating data
Resilient – able to work under pressure and to deadlines
Analytical problem solver.
Proactive and flexible attitude to take on-board a variety of work.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Minimum 40-hour working week Monday to Friday
Some UK travel will be required
