Business Development Manager
A new and ambitious sports betting business seeks a Business Development Manager with experience of working in both regulated and unregulated markets. The key role is to define territories where market-entry is possible and to prepare for launch accordingly. Supported by a wider team of experts from technical, legal, product and operational perspectives, the Business Development Manager must implement a strategy pioneering the brand presence online in all operational territories, including in jurisdictions in which there is no solid regulatory framework.

Role:
• Identify business opportunities according to general company strategy in new markets
• Reporting directly to the CEO, create, justify and implement business plans for countries which have no established gaming regulations and where online gaming is not strictly prohibited by the authorities
• Accurate forecasting and structured approach to new market entrance
• Maximize revenue opportunities to ensure business in any given territory is sufficiently profitable
• Work alongside the wider team, creating and promoting ideas to assist colleagues in the achievement of all business objectives
• Travel to potential markets to conduct on-the-ground research, creating a network and establishing a local presence where required
• Develop and maintain strong business relationships with B2B partners

Requirements:
• Proven individual contributor success in the establishment of a new online gaming brand in any particular market or region
• Experience in online business development within unregulated markets
• Wide contact network of B2B service providers
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, complemented by a confident presentation style
• Self-starter with proven ability to multi-task and prioritize under pressure
• Willingness to travel whenever and wherever required
• Honest, fair and trusted negotiator with a positive reputation across the industry
