Our client is a rapidly growing sportsbook and casino operator who are actively seeking an Affiliate Manager, to be a part of a new team being set up in Germany (or Malta), with the idea to becoming the Country Manager within the region.
Reporting into the Head of Marketing, the Affiliate / Country Manager will be fully responsible for delivering the sportsbook and casino affiliate revenue plan, whilst also growing revenue through key partnerships via exceptional account management, innovative marketing and relationship building activities.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Recruitment of new affiliates;
Account managing a portfolio of existing affiliate partners via email, phone, newsletters and forums to maximize revenue generation;
Nurturing existing affiliates to deliver incremental revenue month on month, and negotiating bespoke commercial deals where necessary to attract additional revenue;
Manage all affiliate and key partner relationships for the business within the region and deliver agreed revenue targets for sportsbook and casino.
Set up and manage commercial agreements and commission models.
Attend industry shows and events within Europe.
Be close to the numbers with a clear understanding of costs and ROI.
Document the affiliate growth strategy on Basecamp and attend senior management meetings to present on targets and progress monthly.
Be hands-on with the tracking and creation of all links and affiliate assets within the NetRefer program.
Management of affiliate targeted campaigns, whether bespoke to the channel or central campaigns for both casino and sports products.
Overseeing the management of the affiliate channel from a compliance perspective within Europe, liaising with the in-house Compliance Officer.
Monitoring and participating in main Affiliate marketing forums and events to strengthen existing affiliate relationships – locally and abroad as required;
Front line contact with existing affiliates – handling queries, commercial negotiations and affiliate support and FAQ responses;
Continuous optimization of affiliate and partnership deals.
Analysis of the competitor landscape and best practices to develop an optimized and highly competitive affiliate program.
Must be a native-speaking German with good English language skills.
Experience creating and executing online marketing campaigns that stimulate new sign ups and increased revenue via 3rd party affiliate sites.
A strong grasp of digital and affiliate marketing with outstanding communication, leadership and analytical skills.
Commercially astute demonstrating strong negotiation skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to form good relationships with key stakeholders.
A self-starter with the ability to thrive in fast paced and pressurized environments.
Knowledge of NetRefer program a plus.
Experience within the iGaming industry and knowledge of sports betting and casino.
Extensive contact list and ability to quickly convert leads.
Ambitious and motivated - able to work unsupervised to hit required targets.
Extensive high-level client management experience;
Strong sales and negotiation skills.
