Principal Accountabilities

• Take a leading role in managing paid search campaigns and strategies across the company’s diverse portfolio of websites, which include e-gaming, sports betting, hospitality, leisure and retail
• Play an active role in ensuring all PPC campaigns are optimised for ROI, incorporating a scientific ‘hypothesise, test and report’ approach
• Develop short and long-term paid search strategies
• Manage medium-to-large PPC budget
• Manage and lead the digital agency, providing direction and challenging for improved performance
• Work across business areas, as well as with members of the digital team, to provide advice on landing page and digital marketing campaign best practice
• Engage with digital agency and internal stakeholders on a daily/weekly/monthly basis, providing effective performance reports for each audience
• Keep up to date with the latest search trends and updates

Personal Skills & Experience
• 3+ years of previous online media planning & buying experience, preferably with hands-on management of paid search, digital display and social display activity
• Has ideally worked within the gaming sector and has experience in affiliate channels within a digital facing organisation.
• Knowledge and a passion of the online sports and casino betting a significant plus
• Target driven with a desire to succeed – ambitious and motivated
• A self-starter who can work under their own initiative - ability to work unsupervised to hit required targets
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to form good relationships with key partners
• Strong analytical, numeracy, reporting and communication skills
• Strong working knowledge of paid search & digital display campaigns
• Strong understanding of Google Adwords and Analytics. Google Adwords certification preferable, but not required
• Strong account management experience
• Strong understanding of how PPC fits into the wider digital marketing mix
• Budget management, planning and allocation experience
• Ability to meet challenging KPIs and New Funded Account acquisition targets at an appropriate CPA and optimise campaigns constantly
• Passion for PPC and digital marketing in general
• Good reporting capabilities
Working Hours
• Minimum 40-hour work week Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work required
• There will be a need for some UK travel as required, as well as work outside of standard 9-5 hours, to meet the needs of the business.
