Betting Jobs is currently looking for a Gaming Analyst to join the Business intelligence team of one of the largest operators in the industry, based in their Leeds office. The Gaming Analyst will contribute to the on-going development of the company's products, working closely with stakeholders and providing detailed insights based on advanced analytics. This is an opportunity for someone with experience using Excel and SQL, either with a strong interest in sportsbook, poker or casino, or with experience working in the betting and gaming industry.


• Be the analytical partner for the key stakeholders across all verticals, providing data, analysis and insights that will be used by the business to help with its decision making, strategy development and tactical delivery
• Drive business-focused projects, analysing data from a range of sources, deriving conclusions and making recommendations to the business
• Delivering within a fun but fast-moving environment
• Working in areas such as acquisition, CRM, product or one of the three verticals.
• Extracting and analysing very large, multi-dimensional data sets
• Constantly searching for Innovative ideas and new analytic techniques


• Graduate in a relevant subject (preferably STEM or similar) or several years of experience
• Analytical mind, with the ability to extract knowledge from data
• Ability to deliver high quality work under pressure of deadlines
• Ability to clearly communicate ideas and results to non-technical business people, both written and orally
• Ability to see the "big picture", evaluate the business impact of issues and prioritize among many requests
• Ability to turn complex concepts into actionable recommendations

Desirable Experience:

• Knowledge of the online gaming industry
• Proficiency in extracting and manipulating large datasets using any of the following: SQL / MicroStrategy (or similar products)
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
• Practical experience with statistical tools (SPSS, SAS, R, KNIME, other)
• Experience in data mining / advanced analytics (clustering, regression, predictive models or similar)
