Bettingjobs are working with a top igaming group who are looking to add to their technical team in either Manila or Gibraltar. Within the team, they are hoping to add a Systems Linux Team Lead who will work with a technically diverse team that develops and supports infrastructure for ESL bespoke applications. Will be responsible for implementing baseline changes, maintain software applications, troubleshoot supported software applications and equipment, create and maintain required documentation, install and setup servers and will interface with internal teams as well as external customer support teams. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work on a diverse team are critical.

GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Maintain Servers and Virtual Infrastructure.
• Maintain corporate and production web systems based on RHEL, and Centos 6.x and 7.x.
• Maintaining operating system baselines utilizing configuration management tools
• Deploy new software, hardware, and back-end systems.
• On call and out of hours work as necessary to maintain the availability and accessibility of the infrastructure.
• Implement solutions to ensure infrastructure capacity meets existing and future requirements.
• Report on activities to the IT and Project Managers.
• Day to day management and build of Linux systems based on Centos and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.x and 7.x.
• Configuration and support for Apache and nginx web services, with PHP plugins.
• Working systems knowledge of Drupal CMS, JIRA, and Git.
• Working knowledge of Ansible or other automation tool.
• Centralized Linux management and authentication, using LDAP or MS AD.
• Performing Linux patching using a centralised system like spacewalk.
• Familiarity with Linux LVS technology.
• VMware ESXi management and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with backup systems and processes.
• Interfacing with internal and external customers on issues, diagnosing and fixing customer problems
• Define and follow security requirements for production environments
• Linux scripting (bash, python, perl, etc).
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Maintenance and responsible for Team’s ROTA schedule
• Appraisals and performance reviews for the Team (yearly, preemptive and PIP if required)
• Identify strengths within the Team and implement effective delegation of tasks
• Participate in Interview and Hiring Processes (defining Job Descriptions and identifying qualified candidates)
• Incident Management and handling in coordination with rest of the Teams and Escalation points
• Problem Management, keeping the KPIs defined for the Team and Tier
• Knowledge Management and Training Processes for the Team

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s Degree in IT related field and at least 5 years of experience.
• Proficiency with Linux and Windows OS Server, and Network Security.
• Demonstrated technical expertise and work experience in providing technical support.
• Understanding of infrastructure architectures and technologies including networking, server operating systems and system management tools.
• Install, configure and maintain systems servers.
