Betting Jobs is currently looking for an Operations Optimization Manager to join Casino BI team of a market-leading gaming company based in their Dublin office. The Operations Optimization Manager will be responsible for optimizing the site and the business operations based on ongoing research and analysis. This is the ideal opportunity for someone analytical who is looking to step-up into a BI Lead position, ideally with some eGaming experience.

Key Responsibilities

Working within the context of the Group’s agreed strategy.
Understand the data that is available for use by the Casino team and how to make use of that data
Daily analysis of the business performance, customer behaviour and site functionality
Identify trends and variance between different platforms and jurisdictions of the operations
Analysis of potential problems and risks and provide meaningful insights accordingly
Proactively search for potential problems and irregularities
Casino department focal point for audits and production incidents investigations
Work with operational manager to define the optimal product categories, product layout and new projects distribution
Building of reports, database queries and processes to enable data driven production development
Close interface with product managers on offering optimization and improvements
Ensuring the integrity and consistency of data/information streams throughout the business cycle
Support product innovation and product development

Skills and Capabilities


Degree (or equivalent) in the quantitative areas or relevant experience gained in data analytics
Ability to deliver high quality work under pressure of deadlines
Ability to clearly communicate ideas and results to non-technical business people, both written and orally
Ability to see the "big picture", evaluate the business impact of issues and prioritize among many requests
Ability to turn complex concepts into actionable recommendations
Proficiency in extracting and manipulating large datasets using SQL / MicroStrategy (or similar)
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint etc.)


Knowledge of the online casino industry
Practical experience with statistical tools (SPSS, SAS, R, KNIME, other)
Experience in data mining / advanced analytics (clustering, regression, predictive models or similar)
