We are looking for a hands-on Programme Manager with a background within Sportsbook products and/or experience of building a brand-new product and taking it to market. Working closely with the existing programme team, you will take ownership of a multi-million £ Sports Portfolio with other programme/project managers supporting you.
Responsible for the end to end delivery of all programmes within the Sports Portfolio
Responsible for producing all programme artefacts at a portfolio level – plans, RAID logs, scenario analysis etc
Along with accountability for the Sports Portfolio, you might also be responsible for managing one of the Sports programmes
Reporting to the Programme Board and key stakeholders on the delivery of the portfolio.
Planning the programme and pro-actively monitoring its overall progress, resolving issues and initiating corrective action as appropriate.
Pulling together the multiple moving parts of the programme into one cohesive view
Quality assurance of the programme deliverables.
Managing the programme’s budget (resource spend), tracking the expenditures and costs.
Ensuring that the delivery of new products or services from the programme are to the appropriate levels of quality, on time and within budget, in accordance with the project plans.
Ensuring that there is efficient allocation of resources and skills and collaborating with the other PMs to best allocate resources to the programme.
Similarly ensuring efficient allocation of business resources and skills in respect of the non-technical aspects of the delivery of the programme.
Managing third party contributions to the programme where applicable.
Facilitating the communications with all stakeholders, including the running of programme board meetings for larger projects.
Managing risks to the programme successful outcome.
You’ll focus on the details while keeping the overall purpose and goals of the projects in mind. And you can juggle a number of different projects at once.
You’ll take ownership of and see through the resolution of impediments – you’ll need to talk to lots of people to figure out what’s happening and know when it’s right to escalate.
