Position Purpose:

The Human Resources Manager originates and leads Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented; high-performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity, and standards; goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce.

The Human Resources Manager is responsible for the development of processes and metrics that support the achievement of the organization's business goals.

The Human Resources Manager coordinates the implementation of people-related services, policies, and programs through Human Resources staff; reports to the COO; and assists and advises company managers about Human Resources issues.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintains the work structure by regularly updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
Manages the recruitment process by establishing a recruiting, testing, and interviewing program to recruit top talent.
Counsels managers on candidate selection; conducts and analyses exit interviews; recommending changes.
Prepares employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs.
Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees; scheduling management conferences with employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; counselling employees and supervisors.
Manages and maintains employee benefits programs.
Devises and implements a performance management system to guide employee performance and maintain a fair bonus structure.
Requests and implements salary increases and supports promotions with line managers.
Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource legal requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records; representing the organization at hearings.
Maintains management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.
Maintains historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system; keeping past and current records.
Ensures a safe and healthy work environment for all employees whilst also making sure they have the necessary tools to perform their work and maintain high levels of performance.
Monitors and ensures motivation and retention of employees by maintaining a benefit structure and organising various staff events.
Supports and implements a new HRIS System.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Requirements:

At least 3 years of experience as anHR manager.
People oriented and results driven
Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics
Knowledge of HR systems and databases
Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
A degree in Human Resources or related field
