Main responsibilities

Develop recruiting plans with Head of HR
Assist in sourcing the best reference check source for potential candidates
Perform job analysis and reviews of company's operational needs to ensure updated individual job requirements and objectives
Develop job descriptions/specs – maintain and update job specs as roles develop
Regular networking through contacts within the industry
Prepare recruitment materials/job adverts/ communicate with design for social media job ads
Post jobs to appropriate channels
Use of company’s internet page to assist in recruitment process
Use of social media sites (LinkedIn etc.) to identify and source potential candidates
Conducting interviews and filter candidates accordingly within scheduled time frame and to relevant criteria
Assess applicants’ relevant experience and aptitudes
Providing documented feedback/summary of each selection to Head of HR
Provide well documented recruiting reports to relevant HoDs
Act as a point of contact/intermediary and build candidate relationships during the entire selection process
Actively promote on social media and online by making use of sites such as Glassdoor

Essential Skills

At least 2 years experience working as a recruiter
Experience in drafting job ads for social media
Possess effective communication skills, both verbal and written
Ethical and objective
Approachable and personable approach
Preferred skills / personality traits

Have a flair in writing
Curious and inquisitive nature
Being open to the world and all the different cultures
A good listener
Ready to have fun on the job
Sense of humor
