BettingJobs is currently looking for applicants to join the Business Intelligence team of a market leading gaming company based in the Isle of Man, as a Play Money Analyst. The successful candidate will use advanced analytics to contribute to the key decisions made in the area of Play Money business. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is strong analytically and technically, and who has good experience playing poker.

Responsibilities:
• Be the analytical partner for the Play money stakeholders (“Free to play” team), promoting data driven decision making
• Delivery of advanced analytical projects within a fast moving environment
• Application of data to areas such as campaign analysis, ROI, and A/B testing
• Extracting and analysing very large and multi-dimensional data sets, working closely with internal units to drive insights and produce more efficient and effective CRM campaigns
• Extraction and manipulation of large volumes of data

Requirements:
• Experience in “Free to play” business/ “Play Money”/ “Social gaming”
• Degree (or equivalent) in the quantitative areas or relevant experience gained in data analytics
• Ability to deliver high quality work under pressure of deadlines
• Ability to clearly communicate ideas and results to non-technical business people, both written and orally
• Ability to see the 'big picture', evaluate the business impact of issues and prioritize among many requests
• Ability to turn complex concepts into actionable recommendations
• Proficiency in extracting and manipulating large datasets using SQL / MicroStrategy (or similar)
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint etc.)

Desirable
• Knowledge of the online poker/ gaming industry
• Practical experience with statistical tools (SPSS, SAS, R, KNIME, other)
• Experience in data mining / advanced analytics (clustering, regression, predictive models or similar)
