As Delivery manager you will work closely with both technical and non-technical teams to ensure the right technical solution is delivered to solve specific business objectives. A key part of the role is understanding the commercial strategies of the Group and its constituent businesses. You will own project/programme delivery for the back-end of a new Sportsbook platform with responsibilities for technical delivery and coordinating operational delivery. You will work closely with the Sportsbook Operations Director, Product Owners and multiple delivery teams.

Strong analytical skills will help you strategically pinpoint issues which must be resolved in a measurable way. Your visible approach combined with excellent communication skills will ensure that the strategic vision is passed down from the executive level to all team members and internal/external stakeholders. You will coach team members to follow your lead in presenting complex risks and opportunities in clear, actionable form, allowing well informed decisions to be made.

Main Responsibilities
Working closely with our globally based Product Owner(s) and subject matter experts you will ensure requirements are correctly specified and prioritised before being fed into the respective development teams
Assist the Product Owner(s) in owning the back-end Sportsbook platform product roadmap and ensure they bring tangible value to roadmap meetings and executive level decision making
Promote strong cross-team/departmental communication and collaboration
Overall ownership of delivery for all elements of the project/programme:
Ensure delivery approach is aligned to good Agile/Lean practices
Set out the objectives of projects/programmes to ensure team members clearly understand the project vision and how various departments will interact with the delivered product
Encourage innovation and fresh ideas by re-enforcing the vision throughout the project/programme, ensuring teams understand how their work fits into the bigger picture
Ensure all team members have a clear understanding of their role and are empowered to carry out their responsibilities
Ensure that the initial plan has flexibility to respond to changing business objectives
Look to eradicate risks/impediments early
Ensure effective communication of project/programme status to all stakeholders and team members
Facilitation of key Agile project/programme meetings with relevant technical and operational staff:
KO meetings
Programme stand ups
Programme retrospectives

At least five years of Product Ownership, Project Management or similar role in an Agile environment, with a proven track record of successful project delivery
Very strong customer service, communication and organisational skills
Strong knowledge of the Scrum and/or Kanban Agile software delivery methodologies

Experience of managing multiple, parallel projects in a technical environment
Experience of working with multiple development and/or operational teams in multiple geographic locations, across multiple time zones
Familiarity with JIRA and related Atlassian technology
