The ideal candidate for this position will have experience in designing, implementing and managing integrated security that combines essential capabilities such as web application security, network intrusion prevention, strong authentication, network / application behavioural profiling, malware detection and vulnerability management. The ideal candidate must have proficient knowledge with the latest cyber security threats and attacking tools and methodologies. She/he must have extensive experience in Cyber Incident Response and forensics.

Responsibilities: As a Senior Cyber Security Specialist within the Office of the Information Security Manager, you will be responsible for:

Administering the company’s perimeter Security appliances (IPS, WAF, SSL VPN) Conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration tests on the company’s networks and external facing applications
Conducting cyber incident response activities (detection, analysis, investigation, forensics) while liaising with the Network Operations Centre
Ensuring IT security architecture/designs, plans, controls, processes, standards, policies and procedures are aligned with IT standards and overall IT security
Reviewing logs using analytic tools such as Splunk or Arcsight
Conducting technical evaluation of emerging technologies and projects in the company while providing guidance to the IT Operations and Development groups
Research and alert on emerging threats and vulnerabilities that relates to the company’s IT infrastructure and applications
Provide continuous cyber related services within the 24/7 operations team (incident response, monitoring, reporting etc…)


Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
At least 8 years of system / network and Security experience
Must have a least one of the following security certifications: - Certified ethical hacker certification (EC – Council Ethical Hacker) - SEC560: Network Penetration Testing and Ethical Hacking
Detailed knowledge of network and Web related protocols (e.g. TCP/IP, UDP, IPSEC, HTTP, HTTPS, routing protocols)
Must have proven track record and experience with administering, tuning and configuring an Intrusion Prevention system and Web Application Firewall
Very detailed knowledge of system security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques
Recent development experience with one or more modern programming languages (e.g. C#, .NET, C++, Java, PHP, Ruby on Rails, Objective – C) preferred
Strong scripting skills (e.g. Perl, Python, Ruby, Shell script, Java script, PowerShell) required
Strong working knowledge of Linux and Apache platforms
Strong working knowledge of Windows and IIS platforms
Willing to work on 24/7 Shifting schedule
