Divisional Market Manager – Sports
DEPARTMENT: Retention Services
REPORTING TO: Head of Retention Services
The Department:
The Retention Services Department is responsible for the creation, segmentation and execution of promotions sent out to customers across all products and regions.
Purpose:
Working closely with the Head of Retention Services, the Sports Retention Manager is responsible for leading the Retention and Marketing Communications team ensuring the execution and delivery of effective sports centric campaigns and content. Responsible for the development and management of the sports product’s customer retention programme, including but not limited to the customer communication, user experience, retention marketing campaigns as well as offer management, with the ultimate aim to increase customer engagement, driving down churn and increasing customer lifetime value.
Duties will include, but not limited to:
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
 Responsible for the management of Sport Retention and Marketing Communications, providing feedback, coaching, training and development in order to optimise performance of all team members and support departments.
 Work closely with the Head of Retention Services in developing and implementation of the customer loyalty and retention programs.
 Identify opportunities & implement tactics to maximise revenue and minimise churn among existing customer bases.
 Monitor changes and keep updated on the organisation's products and/or services
 Guide the Retention Services team in identifying clear cross-selling opportunities between products and/or platforms.
 Fixate on the continues improvement of the user’s experience, through the ongoing advancement of the product, promotional offerings, content and communication.
 Carry out competitor research and analysis, not only to ensure that the sports product remains relevant and competitive.
 Develop reporting templates that help provide clear evaluation of all promotional activity and help display its impact on the business.
 Project Management of key customer promotions and/or campaigns.
 Keeping up to date with the fast moving world of betting and gaming to ensure all promotions are tailored correctly.
 Work closely with the Sports Operational Manager and other key stakeholders across the organisation to help maximise promotional output and effectiveness.
 Understand brand and product proposition through all communication channels.

Requirements:
 Essential Criteria:
 Proven experience in Sports Retention Management.
 Experience within the Online Gaming industry.
 Excellent verbal and written skills
 Understanding of usability and conversation optimisation principles.
 Proven experience of working within CRM and/or Campaign Management.
 Extensive knowledge of Sports and Sportsbook operations.
 Wide range of knowledge implementing creative email marketing campaigns & promotions.
 Proven people management experience including performance management, drive efficiency measures to maximise productivity and leading and developing high performance teams.
 Understanding of direct to customer marketing, promotions & trends.
 Ability to drive projects from start to finish.
 Be confident in liaising with all levels of management.
 Desirable Criteria:
 Experience of the SBTech Sports Betting platform.
