BettingJobs.com is currently looking for a talented graduate to join the dynamic Business Intelligence Team of a leading gaming company. The successful graduate will assist on a variety of analytical projects across the business, gaining experience in data mining, data science, business analysis and applied statistics.

Responsibilities:

• Aid in analysis of marketing promotions, could include areas such as TV acquisition, CRM, Customer Onboarding etc.
• Assist in data extraction & manipulation from our Data warehouse (exposure to SQL / MicroStrategy will be gained), manipulation of large volume of data in order to establish actionable insights/models and deliver recommendations
• Application of data to areas such as campaign analysis, ROI, and A/B testing
• Application of data to areas such as Pricing optimisation and Loyalty Program optimisation
• Application of statistical techniques to interpret data (exposure to KNIME will be gained)
• Provide support on ad-hoc requests

Requirements:

• Degree in the quantitative areas (e.g. Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
• Excellent problem solving skills
• The ability to think logically and question anomalies
• Ability to deliver high quality work under pressure of deadlines
• Ability to clearly communicate ideas and results to non-technical business people, both written and orally
• A passionate, results orientated, team player
• Knowledge of the online gaming industry is desirable
• Practical experience with statistical tools (SPSS, SAS, R, KNIME, other) is desirable
• Proficiency in extracting and manipulating large datasets using SQL / MicroStrategy (or similar) is desirable
• Experience in data mining / advanced analytics (clustering, regression, predictive models or similar) is desirable
