BettingJobs is working with a client based in Guyana who are seeking a General Manager to launch a new sports betting business in their existing network of slots venues.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for ensuring smooth operations of all outlets, including hiring and managing staff, maintaining equipment.
• Budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring financial performance, ensuring profitability and cost-efficiency across all outlets.
• Ensuring excellent customer service is a vital aspect of the role.
• Ensure that the company is compliant with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Involved in developing and implementing marketing strategies to attract customers and increase brand awareness. This will involve collaborating with marketing teams, analysing market trends, and identifying opportunities for growth.
• Managing risks associated with the sports betting industry is crucial. The manager will be responsible for assessing and mitigating risks, implementing security measures, and ensuring the integrity of betting systems and platforms.
Requirements:
• A history and passion for sports betting, online gambling, lottery management or similar is a must.
• Managing a company with a route operation an advantage.
• Understanding, participation and or enjoyment of West Indian Culture an advantage.
• Willingness to relocate to the tropics in a fast-growing economy.
