BettingJobs are seeking a CEO for an established operator in the African market. The Chief Executive Officer will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the Company as well as fulfilling its long-term strategic objectives
This role would be well suited to an individual with extensive experience in managing sportsbook operations, ideally with knowledge of the African market.
Responsibilities:
• Managing the company's divisions
• Leading the company to meet strategic objectives
• Building work plans and growth strategies while being responsible for their execution
• Responsibility for business development and the profitability of the company
• Responsibility for the effectiveness of sales platforms in the field and online
• Initiating steps and procedures to control the company's activities
• Implementation of management and operation methodologies, routines, work processes, measurement and control of performance
• Responsibility for agreeing and controlling budgets
Requirements:
• Significant experience as a senior manager within the sports betting industry
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business or a related subject - Masters level preferred
• Previous experience in managing a company across all its divisions in different areas including
sales, marketing, operations, finance, legal, business development, human resources
• Experience in marketing and branding, with a proven track record of attracting and retaining customers
• Profit and loss unit management
• Experience of developing and implementing strategy, setting objectives and achieving them
• Management of a geographically dispersed sales system
• Online sales management
• Budget control
• Familiarity with the African sports betting market - a significant advantage
• Fluent in English- mandatory
The successful candidate would be required to relocate, this role is based out of their office in Monrovia, Liberia.
