BettingJobs are working with a leading iGaming service provider who are now seeking a Fraud and Payments Manager to join the team in Cyprus.

Key responsibilities of the position:
• Oversight over the operation of the company’s payments verticals
• Suggest improvements to payments flow
• Monitor gateways’ performance and routing setups
• Act as point of contact in management of payment issues or contingency events, contribute to the creation of processes for mitigation of downtimes
• Act as a contact point for escalation of fraud suspicions and manage referred cases whilst reporting to the Head of Department
• Perform fraud prevention and fraud management function within FP department, with focus on improving processes and creating written procedures
• Define fraud mitigation strategies whilst ensuring business and regulatory requirements are continuously met
• Improve setup and monitor performance of internal and external fraud monitoring and prevention tools
• Prepare regular qualitative and quantitative reports on fraud within the endusers’ database
• Proactive identification and management to resolution of identified risks / discrepancies / payment exceptions
• Manage Fraud and Payment Team Leaders, with focus on defining KPIs, monitoring of performance and conducting 1:1 meetings
• Provide expert opinion to the rest of the FP Team, assist with their queries
• Participate in team and departmental meetings
• Provide regular training to the team and ensure the department is up to date with the latest policies and procedures
• Update knowledge base regularly
• Contribute to the reporting requests, in line with regulatory and internal requirements
• Work closely with CS, VIP, Marketing managers on ideas for enhancing the internal processes and communication flow
• Support testings, assess the needs and request new features and product improvements
• Maintain high level of discretion whilst performing duties
• Maintain flexibility and readiness to prioritize urgent cases whenever operational needs shall arise
• Regularly report to Head of the department
• Other ad-hoc duties as required by operational needs

Job requirements and competencies:
• Proficiency in English, knowledge of additional Western European language(s) is highly advantageous
• Min. 3 years of experience in managing multinational team of payment/fraud staff (or equivalent roles)
• Previous hands-on, documented experience with managing fraud and payments responsibilities
• Knowledge of iGaming industry
• Knowledge of different payment solutions, banking systems and understanding of related risks
• Previous exposure to managing payment gateways setup
• Experience in preparing and communicating written policies and procedures
• Excellent communication skills, flexibility and ability to work under pressure
• Team-player

• Professional certificates in areas of payments, fraud and/or AML
