The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective search engine optimisation strategies to drive organic traffic, improve search engine rankings, and enhance overall online visibility. Their expertise will be instrumental in optimising the website content, conducting keyword research, and staying up to date with the latest SEO trends and best practices. The ideal candidate is passionate about SEO, data-driven, and possesses a proven track record of delivering measurable results.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies in alignment with the company's marketing objectives and target audience.
• Conduct thorough SEO audits to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement.
• Perform in-depth keyword research to identify relevant and high-traffic keywords for content optimisation and ranking improvement.
• Monitor keyword performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Optimise website content, meta tags, and other on-page elements to improve search engine visibility and user experience.
• Build high-quality backlinks through outreach, content promotion, and partnerships to enhance domain authority.
• Collaborate with the web development team to ensure proper website structure, page speed, and mobile responsiveness for optimal search engine crawling and indexing.
• Implement technical SEO best practices, such as XML sitemaps, robots.txt, and canonical tags.
• Develop and execute a content strategy that aligns with SEO objectives, user intent, and audience needs.
• Create engaging and SEO-friendly content, including blog posts, articles, infographics, and other formats.
• Monitor and analyse website performance using SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEO software).
• Generate regular SEO performance reports, identifying key insights and recommending actionable improvements.
• Keep abreast of the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practices.
• Continuously research and test new SEO strategies to optimise search rankings and drive organic traffic.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
• Proven experience as an SEO Specialist, SEO Analyst, or a similar role with a track record of driving organic traffic and improving search rankings.
• In-depth knowledge of SEO best practices, including on-page optimisation, link building, and technical SEO.
• Proficiency in using SEO tools, such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Moz, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of keyword research and analysis techniques.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling and SEO-friendly content.
• Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyse data, draw insights, and make data-backed recommendations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing SEO landscapes.
• Experience with local SEO and e-commerce SEO is a plus.
