BettingJobs is working with an exciting new iGaming operator seeking to expand their finance team ahead of product launch. Based in Cyprus with Nicosia HQ up coming the role will be supported by the Head of Finance. This position is remote based from Cyprus to begin with plans for hybrid once the office is opened to kick start collaboration.
This role is suited to those who enjoy working in fast paced and lean environment where decisions can be made quickly and day to day duties are ranged.
Responsibilities include:
• Ensuring that all accounting records are correct and up to date
• Leading the month end process and preparation of management accounts of various entities
• Maintaining a good level of financial controls
• Monitoring all reconciliations prepared by the team and ensuring they are performed on a timely basis
• Supervising the rest of the team with day-to-day activities
• Helping with managing of the statutory audit process
• Assisting with regulatory submissions as may be required
• Assisting with preparation of reports and information relevant for decision making
• Assisting the Head of Finance with any other related tasks
The ideal candidate must:
• Have gaming sector experience
• Have solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures, possessing a ACCA/ university degree in Accounting
• Have advanced MS Excel skills
• Be highly organized and detail-oriented
• Be able to work independently and as part of a team
