BettingJobs is working with an online bookmaker with a long history of changing the landscape of the sports betting and gaming industry through its integrity, high level of customer satisfaction, and revered risk management. They are seeking a Product Manager to join their team in Toronto.
Responsibilities:
• Work with the commercial and revenue business stakeholders to develop and execute the strategic vision and roadmap for the mobile application.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, customer support, legal, compliance, and technology, to prioritise features, build consensus, and coordinate timelines to ensure successful execution.
• Work with the internal insights team to conduct market research that identifies user needs, market trends, and the competitive landscape to inform key product decisions.
• Define the product roadmap, prioritise features, and create detailed product requirements based on customer feedback, business requirements, and technical feasibility.
• Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and utilise analytics tools to track and analyse the performance of the mobile application, make data-driven decisions to improve user engagement and satisfaction.
• Develop and implement testing and optimisation strategies, including A/B testing, multivariate testing, and user feedback analysis, to continuously improve the mobile application customer journeys.
• Manage app store submissions (App Store and Google Play), including new versions / builds.
• Champion user-centered design principles and work closely with UX/UI designers to deliver intuitive and engaging user experiences.
• Facilitate agile development processes, including sprint planning, backlog management, and scrum meetings, to ensure timely and iterative delivery of product features.
• Engage with stakeholders, including senior management, to provide regular updates on product progress, gather feedback, and manage expectations.
• Plan and execute successful product launches, including marketing campaigns, user onboarding strategies, and post-launch support, to drive user adoption and meet business objectives.
• Monitor user feedback, track industry trends, and identify opportunities for product enhancements and new features to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in product management, preferably in the online sports betting or gaming industry, with a focus on mobile application development
• Strong understanding of mobile app development processes, including iOS and Android platforms, app stores, and related technologies.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and performance metrics to drive insights and optimise performance.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at various levels.
• Detail-oriented and results-driven mindset.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
• Knowledge of responsible gaming practices and player protection policies.
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken). Additional languages may be a plus.
• 5+ years’ experience in a product management role
• Proven experience in developing a product strategy and effectively managing roadmaps.
• Prior experience in building and launching applications on mobile platforms
• Deep understanding of strategy development, consumer insights, and process mapping
• Experience with software product development methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile (e.g., Scrum).
• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
• iGaming experience is preferred.
