BettingJobs are working with a successful EU casino operator who are looking to recruit a freelance marketing/branding/research consultant ideally based in New Jersey (but not essential as long as can access the local casino sites to conduct the competitors analysis) for a project they are looking to launch.
The role could potentially lead into a full-time senior position within the business. It can be based remotely in the US or Canada.
The project will be split into 2 or possibly 3 main phases, the first 2 are outlined below.
Requirements:
• A freelance marketing/branding/research consultant – available to start work immediately or very soon (i.e. 1st September onwards)
• Experienced in the online gambling marketing in the US (casino) – in particular NJ
• With experience either working for a market research agency or advertising agency – in a senior Account management or senior strategic position
• Experienced in running global/local brand positioning campaigns consisting of: local market research proposition and creative platform/product development and testing/validating
• Someone with experience establishing and developing international brands, looking to enter and scale In the US (especially NJ)
• Someone with good local agency connections for Phase 1b) of the project
• Someone used to working independently but also part of a wider team and used to undertaking B2C consumer research and working with research/branding agencies
• Someone with an eye for detail, a good analyst who can interpret data and present it internally
Responsibilities
o Phase 1 a) of the project can be delivered by the consultant working independently,
• Phase 1 b) of the project will need to be manged and overseen by the consultant working independently with a local marketing research or branding company under the guidance of the CMO in the UK
o Phase 1 c) of the project will be delivered by the consultant working independently,
• The consultant will report into the UK based CMO – who will approve all elements of the campaign
o Approach/Costs/timelines/agency brief etc
• All major findings will be presented to the C suite team
