BettingJobs are working with an iGaming operator focused on African markets who are looking to add a Head of Sportsbook to their team. This can be based in Barcelona, Dubai or South Africa.
This role reports into the CEO and Company Directors but will also work closely with other company units. We are looking for an expert in all things sportsbook with a proven track record in the industry.
Responsibilities:
• Build the Sportsbook strategy for the Group and advise the Executive team accordingly.
• Oversee the set up and Integration of a 3rd party sportsbook(s) on the platform.
• Act as a champion of sports within the business and establish a knowledge base of sportsbook operations within the company.
• Support the commercial teams in various regions in developing an effective sportsbook operations & strategy.
• Liaise with tech teams and advise on required and optimal feeds, trading operations and product features depending on market conditions.
• Guides various teams across the organisation with regards to sportsbook management such as CRM, Acquisition and CS.
• Work with various teams to establish strong operational procedures to ensure sportsbook customers are effectively, acquired, engaged, and retained.
Required Skills:
• Extensive experience in online sportsbook, ideally with experience in a B2C sportsbook operator.
• Excellent analytical ability combined with a commercial outlook and understanding of business needs and the commercial sportsbook model.
• Proven ability to work across multiple teams and functions and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
• Very well organised with strong project-management skills.
• A keen eye for detail as well as an understanding the ‘bigger picture’
• Experience in Africa if possible.
