BettingJobs are working with an established African online betting operator who are looking to add a Database Administrator to their growing technical team.
Functions:
• Data Integrity and modeling for high volumes
• Data archiving, integration, and aggregation for third-party consumers
• Database performance tuning, troubleshooting, upgrade, migration, and patching (MySQL)
• Periodic health check, root cause analysis for critical incidents, and DR test
Requirements:
• Proficient in Linux environments (especially RHEL based, like Rocky Linux)
• Proficient at Query optimization
• Ability to read third-party code in multiple languages
• Strong understanding of relational DB Design and Normalization
