BettingJobs is working with an online bookmaker with a long history of changing the landscape of the sports betting and gaming industry through its integrity, high level of customer satisfaction, and revered risk management. They are seeking a Esports Partnership Coordinator to join their team in Malta.
The successful candidate will manage the day-to-day activities of the existing partnerships, assessing new opportunities, reviewing, and reporting on the existing portfolio, and expanding the partnership portfolio across large and small-scale marketing campaigns which support strategic business objectives.
Responsibilities:
• Work alongside the Global Esports Partnership Manager to define and own the company esports partnership strategy.
• Ensure effective management and planning of all customer-facing partnership activations and deliverables across multiple languages and regions.
• Leverage the product promotion and brand awareness generated from esports partnerships to solidify the company position as the “pioneer of esports betting.”
• Collaborate with the internal Creative Services team and external agencies on the creative production of marketing assets.
• Ensure all campaign material requirements deliver against partnership or campaign launch, as per the roadmap.
• Support cross-functional teams to identify new and innovative ways of integrating the esports brand and product marketing into the esports partnerships, ensuring activations meet department-specific KPIs.
• Meet with cross-functional teams for specific campaign requirements, ensuring they have all the required assets, creatives, copy and timelines, supporting where needed.
• Analyse the success, learnings and shortcomings of the partnerships and campaigns, ensuring a holistic review when reporting findings.
• Conduct market research, utilising the company’s internal and external properties to understand customer trends from the partnerships and campaigns.
• Work with internal Legal, Regulatory Compliance and Responsible Gaming to ensure all sponsorship activity is compliant with global regulatory requirements and adheres to internal marketing/advertising guidelines.
• Work with existing partners to overcome obstacles, being creative and understanding in finding creative solutions to complex problems.
• Analyse competitors and use your knowledge of the esports industry, communities, and fans to ensure that we continuously meet and exceed consumer expectations.
• Support in the development of the esports product, and esports marketing properties (such as the brand marketing material, and esports hub)
• Develop long-term strategic relationships with partners, agencies, and sponsors.
Knowledge & Experience:
• At least three years of experience working within the esports, entertainment, gaming, or iGaming industry, dealing with agencies, teams, or tournament organisers.
• Experience with activating specific partnerships within the context of betting (both product and brand-led).
• Experience in representing a well-established global brand.
• In-depth knowledge of esports titles, ranging multiple platforms, organisations, and events.
• Experience working with global brands across multi-channel campaigns.
• Knowledge of the esports customer base, including how interaction with esports betting products and services.
• An understanding of the esports betting platform and product offering is desirable.
