Description:
The Core team is growing internationally, and as a result our client are looking for 2x QA Engineer’s to help with the workload as they modernise the legacy stack.
Successful candidates will report to the Head of Core Platform, and be pivotal in in both maintaining and bringing new features to the Core Platform, supporting 50+ Java based components.
Day to day you’ll be writing test scripts, testing, analysing performance of legacy applications, reading logs, helping to translate requirements into Jira’s (adding Use Cases etc) and organising deployments to the Staging environment.
Key requirements:
• Working knowledge as a Front End website QA Engineer
• ISTQB certification
• Experience of documenting software/processes
• Attention to detail with a good customer focus
• Experience working in an Agile environment with issue tracking and test management tools (Jira & Confluence)
Advantageous to have:
• Some Java & MSSQL experience, with Apache Tomcat
• Enterprise Tester or similar
• Docker
• Gitlab CI/CD
