Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced UX/QA Expert to join our dynamic team. As a QA/UX specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our Product user experience. You will work closely with development teams, BI teams, and third-party partners, leveraging your expertise to enhance the user experience and drive data-informed decisions.
Scope of duties:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development teams, BI teams, and third-party partners, to define and implement QA and UX strategies that align with the companies objectives.
• Conduct thorough testing and analysis of our Product, identifying and reporting any user experience defects or usability issues.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure comprehensive coverage of system functionality and user scenarios.
• Perform various types of testing, including functional testing, regression testing, performance testing, and usability testing.
• Work closely with development teams to provide clear and actionable feedback on defects, usability issues, and performance bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with Product, and Business Owners to evaluate and enhance the user interface and user experience, ensuring a seamless and intuitive gaming experience for our players.
• Work with BI teams to gather and analyse data related to user behaviour, preferences, and engagement to inform UX decisions.
• Utilize data and evidence to drive UX improvements and optimize the user experience, leveraging analytics and user feedback.
• Develop concepts and wireframes to communicate to Product Owners and Design teams how User experiences can be developed
• Collaborate with third-party vendors and partners to ensure the successful integration and delivery of QA and UX components.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements in licensed and non-licensed territories, and incorporate them into QA and UX strategies.
Requirements and skills:
• Proven track record in conducting thorough QA testing, including functional testing, regression testing, and performance testing.
• Solid understanding of UX principles and best practices, with the ability to evaluate and enhance user interfaces and experiences.
• Good eye for detail and a meticulous approach to testing and analyse to optimise player funnels and conversion
• Solid experience in wireframing tools to design and communicate improved user experiences
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think both creatively and analytically.
• Data-driven mindset, with experience leveraging data and analytics to drive UX improvements.
• Familiarity with business intelligence (BI) tools and working with BI teams to analyse user behaviour and preferences.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and third-party partners.
• Results-oriented mindset with a strong focus on delivery and meeting project deadlines.
• Experience working with third-party vendors and partners, coordinating activities and ensuring successful integration.
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the gaming industry, with a focus on QA and UX.
