BettingJobs is working with an established online gaming operator who are looking for a Global VP of Finance to join their team either on a remote basis or from their office in Sofia, Bulgaria.
Responsibilities:
• Managing the processes and the teams within the treasury and financial modelling function in line with the best corporate practices, ensuring quality, efficiency, and timeliness and in line with the internal policies and procedures.
• Conduct financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis to drive strategic decision-making and identify growth opportunities.
• Assess and manage financial risks on the side of the PSP and Banks, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
• Monitor all bank accounts and decide on best strategy of moving the funds across entities.
• Monitor all liquidity providers and all Crypto assets and maintain a close eye on costs and FX changes in the crypto industry.
• Provide strategic guidance and leadership to the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Develop and mentor team members, promoting professional growth and succession planning.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration with other departments, such as Legal, Operations, and Business Development.
• Interacting with external parties such as lenders, auditors, regulators, and investors.
• Assisting the senior management in re-organizing and optimizing the existing group of companies as well as the business processes within each company as well as among them.
• Participating in all finance and business controlling processes and projects and producing the requested deliverables in a timely and organized manner in line with the existing internal policies, procedures, and practices.
• Available to perform duties outside the normal working hours as necessary from time to time.
• Available for business trips in and outside of the country.
Organisational Relations:
• The position is directly subordinate to the CFO.
• The positions responsibilities and duties include internal communication with all relevant people within the company.
• The position includes communication and correspondence with external people and organizations.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
• Proven experience as a CFO, Finance Director, or in a similar senior financial leadership role within the iGaming or related industry.
• Strong knowledge of iGaming financial operations, regulatory compliance, and international accounting standards.
• Demonstrated experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting, including the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic insights.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong business acumen, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to navigate in a fast-paced, global, and dynamic work environment.
