Responsibilities:
• Plan and lead the development and implementation of Data strategies and solutions
• Understand business requirements and develop a plan to store, manage, and analyse the data
• Design and implement data integration processes and ETL workflows
• Work with databases, BI tools and other technologies to create reports, dashboards and other visualisations
• Manage and mentor a team of developers and analysts
• Provide training and support to end users
Requirements:
• Extensive experience and hands on knowledge of Data Engineering and Architecture
• Proven capability to design and implement solutions to complex problems
• Strong planning and organisational skills
• Capability to communicate the architectural vision to all levels within the organisation
• Proven expertise in Big data concepts, tools and data modelling
• Evidence of successful tuning and troubleshooting
• Able to guide, train and lead internal data team
• Strong analytical skills
• Proven data Architect with minimum 5 years’ experience in similar role
• Ability to consult through all levels of the organisation to enable the desired outcome
