Bettingjobs.com are currently recruiting for a leading iGaming provider looking for Senior Legal Counsel based remotely.
Responsibilities:
● Review, drafting and negotiation of various contracts related to thecompany’s business
● Providing support and legal advice in relation to corporate matters
● Liaising with external counsels and advisors
● Contract management and housekeeping
● Participation in various tasks and projects in joint cooperation with the AML, Compliance and Finance teams, as relevant
● Providing legal advice on matters relating to intellectual property rights, data protection, general commercial and contract law matters and dispute resolution
● Conducting legal research and preparing memoranda or legal analyses for internal purposes
● Providing day-to-day legal support to the Management and other teams in the company such as Marketing, Product and Tech teams
● Assisting with any additional tasks according to the needs of the company
Requirements:
● University Law Degree (EEA/UK)
● 3-6 years experience practising law as an in-house counsel, associated lawyer or similar role is a must
● Full working proficiency in English
● Previous experience from the iGaming industry is an advantage
● Knowledge of and proven experience in at least three of the following areas of law: iGaming; IT/IP; Contract and Commercial laws; Data Privacy; Corporate/M&A
● High level of independence and accountability
● Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a remote environment
● Savvy in using document and project management software and tools such as (Microsoft Office, Google Docs, DocuSign, JIRA etc.)
● Ability to work alone as well as in a team environment
