This role will lead the full business' HR function, bringing a creative approach to solving people challenges as the business scales up to becoming an established iGaming company within the space.
The business' core people strategy is clear, to acquire and retain the best experienced igaming talent whilst developing potential at every opportunity.
Work across all functions and practices to set and deliver the people strategy and agenda for the Group to help deliver commercial growth.
Implement training initiatives to build leadership capability and ensure employees have access to the information needed to fulfil organisational goals
Coach the leadership team to ensure a cohesive working style and develop the skills required to build line management capabilities across the team.
Champion the vision and ensure it remains central to thinking and decision making through cultural development initiatives and internal communications
Experiment with new techniques to drive performance, fulfilment and protect the wellbeing of the team
Develop and implement key programmes to demonstrate continuous focus and commitment to employee wellbeing and diversity and inclusion
Develop and manage HR policies and procedures to drive performance and employee wellbeing
Identify and implement learning and development initiatives to build technical and behavioural capabilities.
Leading and executing (end to end) complex people projects, whilst managing cyclical people events i.e. employee appraisal, annual reward reviews and feedback processes,
Drive alignment between HR strategy and business goals.
Lead periodic reviews and audits of the employee lifecycle, identifying opportunities to automate and drive significant quality, efficiency and productivity improvement
Support the build, innovation, delivery and quality assurance / audits of the UDEL People & Talent Practice
Line management and career development of all practice members
Educated to bachelor’s degree standard or with equivalent work experience in HR and Recruitment.
Essential Skills, Experience & Knowledge:
You will have significant experience in a high-performing, innovative, people-centric business as a HR Generalist with a grounding in HR administration through to defining global People strategy
Significant experience working at a start-up or consultancy model
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams required
Be a confident coach and influencer of passionate senior stakeholders
A track record of delivery in a fast-paced, demanding growth environment
Experience with global iGaming industry
Knowledge interpreting global and local regulations and legal frameworks relevant to people across Europe and US, with knowledge of international mobility and employee growth across borders
Robust Employee Relations issue resolution knowledge and experience
Demonstrate creative thinking and the ability to devise bespoke solutions to complex people problems
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with the ability to read and design complex spreadsheets
Knowledge of cloud-based HR operating systems
