BettingJobs are working with a betting and gaming operator who are currently looking to add a Group Enterprise Architecture Manager to their team based in Prague. The successful candidate will oversee the planning, development and execution of the Technology goals and ensures the platform architecture supports it.

Responsibilities:
• Ensures fit for purpose architecture of the company platform supporting business needs
• Provides holistic end-to-end platform business enterprise architecture including integration of 3rd parties.
• Ensures compatibility with IT architecture.
• Is decision maker about selected 3rd parties from technical perspective.
• Defines architectural principles, methodology and boundaries for all delivery units and whole company
• Is accountable for design creation for 3rd party integrations.
• Coordinates architecture for cross-vertical deliveries and projects
• Approves design/architecture of all delivery units, both SW and IT
• Approves any major change with architectural impact within whole organization (i.e., including marketing, finance, countries, …)
• Ensures scalability and extendibility of platform to support business growth.
• Implements innovative technology trends, best practices and industry standards including security.

Requirements:
• Masters or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject
• English knowledge level C1, Czech fluency is an advantage.
• Experience as an architecture expert (6+ years)
• Experience with the Enterprise architecture discipline incl. knowledge of relevant frameworks (e.g. TOGAF)
• Good ability to document solutions, both in written and using appropriate visualization tools/techniques, e.g. Enterprise Architect, UML
• Good level of professional knowledge in one or more of following areas: modern web front-end/back-end development, middleware/ESB, databases (incl. NoSQL), protocols/interfaces commonly used in IT integration (e.g. SOAP, XML, JSON, SQL, REST, Web Sockets)
• Knowledge of IT architecture and integration patterns and principles (e.g. SOA)
• Awareness of modern SW development and operations processes (agile, devops), as well as traditional methods
• Experience in the deployment of platforms both in cloud and on-prem
• Experience in the design and tuning of high user concurrency and high transactional volume platforms is an advantage.
• Experience with large IT implementations / transformations including methodology set up is an advantage
• Proven experience with team leadership
• Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and 3rd party agencies/partners.
• Strong customer ethos and the ability to insights into value creation opportunities and deliverables
• Ability to work in a complex and dynamic environment.
• Keen and willing to continue with ongoing technical self-education, ability to quickly understand new technical information and combine it with business domains.
• Able to use both technical jargon and plain language to explain complex technical concepts depending on the audience.
• Able to operate efficiently in international environment.
