BettingJobs are working with a B2B iGaming company who are looking for a Product Owner with an excellent knowledge of ecommerce platforms ideally from both a B2B and B2C perspective including:-

• Customer acquisition and retention
• Personalisation of customer experience
• Customer messaging.
• 3rd party integrations content / payment processing
• Customer optimisation.
• Customer management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working closely with senior management to ensure that the company develops product that fits with its strategic goals.
• Working with internal and external Stakeholders to understand their requirements and ensuring that the project scope has been interpreted correctly.
• Working collaboratively to produce and manage the Company’s development roadmap and ensuring that there is always a suitably prioritized backlog of user stories ready for implementation.
• Aligning the development team around a vision and roadmap for the product, informed by strategic and product roadmap.
• Being the ambassador for the product and the primary contact for queries relating to the product.
• Suggesting features to improve the platform experience for both customers and operators, producing user specifications with sufficient details about the product features that they can be clearly understood by the development teams.
• Breaking down the specification into epics/features/user stories that guide the Agile development team.
• Understand the business value behind feature requests and be able to prioritise them in the development backlog.
• Helping to solve product related problems and highlighting risks and opportunities.
• Ensuring that projects stay on track to achieve delivery commitments, including problem solving and trade off analysis when necessary.
• Working with the development team and monitoring the progress of projects during the development cycle to ensure that they have the correct functionality according to the scope.
• Taking part in demonstrations of software releases and collecting feedback on improvements for future development.
• Continually researching the market, the competitors, customer usage behaviour and technology trends to ensure that market leading products are maintained.

Essential Requirements:

• You should have a fundamental understanding of the customer experience and optimisation in an ecommerce environment – ideally in the online gaming domain.
• You should have experience with applying a data driven approach to customer experience.
• You will take responsibility for the delivered products that you own.
• You will have a collaborative attitude with all stakeholders during the visioning and scoping of projects.
• You need to be a creative and strategic thinker with problem solving skills
• You must have attention to detail in product design.
• You will have a good understanding of the development process and product development lifecycle and have experience of Agile methodologies.
• You will require good organisational and time management skills and the ability to work across different teams to deliver a common goal
• You will have experience of defining a minimum marketable product and a minimum viable product.
• You will have experience in defining road maps and prioritizing project backlogs.
• You will have good presentation and leadership skills
• You will have a basic understanding of the technologies used in product development.
• Degree or higher level of education.
