What you'll do
The Country Manager (German Speaking), is responsible and accountable for the overall success of the creation and management of web properties and initiatives in order to diversify client portfolios. This position works closely with Senior Management to develop and execute a business strategy and provide regular reports on progress.
Reporting to the Head of Franchise Management, the Country Manager (German Speaking) oversees a high performing team, sets clear objectives and expectations, and has a ruthless focus on delivering on company OKR’s. The Country Manager (German Speaking) approaches their role with a strategic mindset, uses data to make informed decisions, and works closely with other departments and supporting functions to move their plan forward.
-Manage, Responsible for the success of multiple website properties
-Own and manage P&L and provide regular reports on progress to the executive team;
-Work closely with the Head of Franchise Management to establish an annual business plan and roadmap to be reviewed and approved by Senior Management on a monthly/quarterly basis.
-Develop and manage an annual budget;
-Act as a Digital Product and Marketing expert providing guidance on strategic direction
-Keep abreast of all search engine optimization (SEO) trends as they occur;
-Establish and monitor in real-time an approved list of revenue-generating keywords for each client website and their competitors;
-Establish off-site authority building and ensures backlink health;
-Implement structure and manage an agile and flexible team that delivers optimal performance for each digital property;
-Define, develop and prioritize a product roadmap, in alignment with OKR’s;
-Oversee the development of content plans with the content team
-Manage internal and external content resources as necessary;
-Set the priorities for the franchise team
-Ensure all central services processes and systems are adhered to
-Lead other initiatives or programs as assigned
What you'll bring
-Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related fields;
-Full proficiency in both German and English;
-5+ years digital marketing experience;
-Ability to lead and inspire a high-performing team;
-Good understanding of technical search engine optimization (SEO) fundamentals;
-Strong understanding of CRO and UX principles;
-Strong analytic skills with the ability to analyze and interpret data and develop actionable insights;
-Strategic thinker, able to anticipate, think critically, evaluate, and act.
-Excellent communication skills with the ability to navigate effectively across organizations
-Experience in a startup work environment is considered an asset.
